UMUKSF TEACHER FUNDING

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED AND WILL RE-OPEN IN DECEMBER

We accept funding applications for up to £1000 from school music teachers, employed by a school and delivering the national curriculum, to fund certain short courses to enhance their teaching. Each application must be accompanied by a letter of endorsement from the headteacher outlining the benefits of you undertaking the course. Please note, we cannot fund tuition fees/private tutors/Peri teachers.

If you are interested in applying for support, please email umuksoundfoundation@umusic.com with a link to the course (including the cost) and details of your current job and we will let you know if it’s something we could potentially fund.

If you are also interested in applying for your school under the ‘UMUKSF School Funding’ application, please let us know when you send us your course information and do not submit any applications until we have replied to you.

Our funding schedule is as follows (please note this is a guideline only, exact dates will be provided on our website):

• Applications will open in April for funding offers made in early September
• Applications will open in August for funding offers made at the end of January
• Applications will open in December for funding offers made at the end of April

We do not offer funding retrospectively and we will not be able to fund courses that begin before the date of the round of funding.
